Advanced UI test automation (AUTA) for BIOS validation using OpenCV and OCR

<p>Basic input output system (BIOS) validation is performed on both graphical user interface (GUI) and command-line (CLI) by a test engineer. Keyboard mouse are used to insert cases commands into under (SUT). Test engineer monitors progress monitor for validation. This method time-consuming relatively more expensive than automation. In this project we designed an independent automation that able mimic human interaction in BIOS The approach can be divided two main parts. first part the device enter SUT second advanced image recognizer. keyboard emulator as reproduce send them SUT. analyzer algorithm developed using OpenCV optical character recognizer (OCR) tools help automate some challenges. Our result shows (UI) (AUTA) perform 125 within 5 hours compared 48 complete job.</p>
